Our Story
Built in 1897 by the Monteverdi family, Villa Serenità has graced the Chianti hills for over a century. Lovingly restored and transformed into an intimate luxury hotel, every stone, beam and terracotta tile carries the memory of generations who have gathered here to celebrate life, wine, and the unhurried beauty of Tuscany.
Today, the villa offers thirty individually designed rooms and suites, a celebrated family restaurant, our private estate winery, and a full clubhouse — all woven into the soul of the original farmstead.

Signature Suite

Dining
Named after the original stone hearth at its center, Il Focolare is the living heart of Villa Serenità. A family restaurant in the truest Tuscan sense — generous, warm, and rooted in the land around it.
Our chef sources ingredients from the estate's kitchen garden and regional farmers, crafting menus that change with the seasons. From handmade pici pasta to slow-roasted Chianina beef, every dish honours a tradition.
Daily 7:00–10:30. A lavish Tuscan spread of fresh pastries, local charcuterie, seasonal fruit, house jams and freshly brewed espresso — included in all stays.
Tuesday–Sunday 19:00–22:30. À la carte and tasting menus available. Reservations recommended.

Tucked beneath the villa, our intimate private winery produces a small-batch Chianti Classico and a rare late-harvest dessert wine — available exclusively to our guests. Join our resident sommelier for barrel tastings, cellar tours and bespoke wine education experiences among the oak casks.
